Philadelphia Eagles fan Amber Sarcone did not have the pleasure of getting to see her team win the Super Bowl this year, but she’s got a win to her name that far exceeds a championship as she’s beaten cancer and is now back on her feet.
Amber comes from Philly royalty. Her family owns the popular Sarcone’s Bakery and she’s also cousin to Danny, who runs the iconic Angelo’s Pizzeria, where you can find the best cheesesteak in the world.
A die-hard Eagles supporter, Amber was invited to the 2022 NFL Draft to make the 181st pick for the team (linebacker Kyron Johnson), going viral as a result. But, prior to that, she was diagnosed with a rare type of bone cancer called Chondrosarcoma.
The disease develops in cartilage cells and typically attacks the pelvis, arm, knee, femur, and ribs.
Doctors were required to remove Amber’s right pelvis bone and reconstruct it by using her fibular bone. She was restricted to using crutches for a while as a result.
As of Tuesday, though, she’s been able to walk unassisted. And a heartwarming photo of her exiting the hospital after being given the good news has seen her go viral yet again.

Amber celebrated the moment by tossing her cane into the street and twerking. You could check her out right below.
This is quite a feel-good event. But it’s also a reminder of how important the things we pay little heed to become when we aren’t able to do them anymore.
Major W there, Amber. Congrats!!!
