JJ Watt may be a few months out of retirement, but it does not mean he is done with football. As J.J. Watt approaches his first fall in retirement, he has many options for his next career move as football season approaches.
Watt, who announced his retirement from the league after the 2022 season, just might be getting ready to take his talents to the broadcasting booth.
The favorite to land him is CBS.
“J.J. Watt is being sought by three networks, with CBS considered the favorite, The Post has learned,” Andrew Marchand reported on Monday morning.
Last month, it was reported that Watt was being targeted by NBC to be part of its Big Ten TV coverage.
Marchand reports that any potential TV gig for Watt would not be a full-time job because he does not want the time commitment.

Watt is a new father and he and his wife are fairly new newlyweds who would like to spend a ton of time together with their new child.
However, it remains unclear whether Watt wants to enter the TV world, especially so soon into retirement. Following his retirement, Watt spoke out on Twitter and stated he would consider getting into TV even though he previously never thought he would.
“Early in my career I said I would never do it, but I love the game too much to not be around it in some capacity,” Watt said.
Additionally, Watt and wife Kealia recently became minority owners of the Burnley Football Club in England.
