I think it’s safe to say NFL fans did not like seeing Deshaun Watson being mentioned in any type of form or fashion. Watson has now taken part in his inaugural practice with the Cleveland Browns, after hitting the field for the first time on Wednesday.
Watson was traded during the offseason to Cleveland in exchange for three first-round picks, a third-round pick, and a fifth-round pick. As a result, the Texans now own the Browns’ No. 12 pick of the 2022 NFL Draft, giving them two first-round picks.
Soon after video surfaced of the controversial QB practicing, a ton of fans had strong opinions of him, with many of them wishing injury on him.

Watson played four seasons in Houston after being drafted out of Clemson with the No. 12 pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. He ended his Texans career throwing for 14,539 yards and 104 touchdowns while completing 67.8 percent of his pass attempts. Watson went 28-25 after starting 53 games for the Texans.
After signing a huge deal with the team, he would demand a trade from the team. Not long afterward, a slew of women would come out and accuse of him sexual assault or misconduct during various massage sessions.
Despite publicly saying he worked with about 40 massage therapists, Deshaun Watson used “at least” 66 female massage therapists over a 17-month period between fall of 2019 and spring of 2021. Watson was sued by 24 massage therapists for alleged sexual misconduct. Two more therapists made criminal accusations, but did not sue.
Two grand juries in Texas declined to proceed with criminal charges against Watson in connection with the myriad of allegations. Watson and his attorneys have repeatedly claimed any sexual activity with any of the massage therapists was consensual.
After being traded to the Browns this offseason, Watson signed a fully guaranteed five-year, $230 million contract.
His first game will be against his old team.
