There was some concern over new Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley on Friday night.
The former New York Giants star had fans on koo social media worried after sticking to the sidelines for an unexpected amount of time during his new team’s clash vs. the Green Bay Packers in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Barkley had a monster first half for Philly, scoring two touchdowns. But the play shown below ended up his last before he ran off the field heading into halftime.
“Saquon Barkley Appears to have suffered an injury,” Dr. Jesse Morse tweeted sometime after. “Hard to tell if it’s his right arm or possibly a stinger (his right arm was hanging). He’s on the sideline when he should be in the game. Something to monitor.”

The Lack Of Saquon Barkley Updates Was Excruciating
Strangely, there was nothing on Barkley from the commentator’s booth after the running back left the field. And fans were not having it.
“Can we please get a Barkley update please?” one begged.
“Please someone tell me Saquon Barkley is ok,” someone else wrote.
“Eagles definitely feel like they should be down by a lot more than 2 points” another comment read. “A lot to clean up in the 2nd half. Hopefully Saquon Barkley is OK.”
Saquon Barkley broke many hearts in New York when he decided to join the Giants’ NFC rivals during the offseason.
Sadly enough, some folks on X/Twitter were hoping he was indeed injured, but he was back on the field after the break, getting the first snap before A.J. Brown put the Eagles ahead 24-19 with a 67-yard touchdown.
