Late in the 4th quarter, Minnesota Vikings RB Dalvin Cook had seemingly fumbled the ball, the Saints had picked it and returned it for a touchdown. The saints had the lead.
Upon further review, however, Cook’s knee was down and the ball would come back to the Vikings. They would wind up having to punt the ball shortly after.
BUT, people wanted to know why a flag wasn’t thrown on back-up QB Teddy Bridgewater who came out on the field of play before the fumble return was actually scored.
