Football fans are convinced that beloved rapper Drake just cursed one of the two Super Bowl finalists ahead of Sunday’s big game in Las Vegas.
As die-hard sports fans know, there’s a long history of teams losing after Drake shows his support for them. The tweet below shows several memorable compelling pieces of evidence to suggest the curse is very real:
On his Instagram page, Drake revealed that he placed a $1.15 million bet on the Kansas City Chiefs to defeat the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl. If Kansas City wins, Drake will receive a shiny $2.346 million payout:

But there is one interesting sidenote to remember: Drake bet on the Chiefs to win Super Bowl 57 against the Philadelphia Eagles last year, and they did just that.
So if the Chiefs emerge victorious today, Kansas City fans will have to stop worrying about the Drake sports curse. They’re obviously immune from it, just as Beni was from Imhotep’s wrath in The Mummy.
