The “NFL is scripted” crowd will enjoy a curious photo leak in the Pittsburgh Steelers’ home venue of Acrisure Stadium.
The MLFootball X/Twitter account shared a photo of an Acrisure Stadium scoreboard that shows the Steelers have 20 points (with 86:53 remaining in the fourth quarter?) against the New England Patriots’ 16 points. Mike Tomlin’s group will host Bill Belichick and the longtime rival Patriots on “Thursday Night Football” at 8:15 p.m. EST.
But in this case, most of the fans who responded to the so-called leaked script weren’t buying it because of one hilarious reason: They don’t even see the slumping Patriots putting up 16 points on Thursday:

Incredibly, the Patriots have held opponents to 10 points or less in each of their last contest…and they managed to lose them all. They became the first team to achieve this unfortunate mark since 1938, as noted by the NFL on CBS X/Twitter account:
Bill Belichick’s 2-10 squad has averaged a woeful 12.3 points per game this season, so even projecting 16 against a stingy Pittsburgh defense certainly seems generous. The Steelers, for what it’s worth, are only allowing 19.1 points per game.
But one shouldn’t fully discount the Patriots’ chances of winning here. Belichick is 13-4 against the Steelers as New England’s head coach, and the Pats even won at Acrisure Stadium 17-14 in Week 2 last season.
