Travis Kelce made his teammates cry.
For the last two weeks, the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers have been preparing for the biggest game of the year that takes place in Las Vegas at Allegant Stadium.
The teams have had media availability, practices, team meetings, group photos, and now that the big day is here.
The Chiefs’ final night before the big game included motivational speeches from some of the stars of the team. Head coach Andy Reid asked quarterback Patrick Mahomes, tight end Travis Kelce, and defensive tackle Chris Jones to address the team.
Kelce delivered a powerful, impactful speech that had some tears flowing.
“Kelce particularly so— “Unbelievable” and “powerful”, according to people in the room, to the point where some teammates were moved to tears,” Albert Breer reported.

“It was like a WWE-type speech. That was the best and most emotional team meeting in years,” someone in the room told CBS Sports’ Tracy Wolfson.
Many fans took to social media and joked that Kelce either brought up Taylor Swift or played one of her songs during the speech:
Kelce is playing in his fourth Super Bowl in five years, looking for his third ring. Many are hoping he can add another one by proposing to Taylor Swift.
The game will be broadcast on CBS and there will be an alternative broadcast on Nickelodeon. Football fans can also stream the game on Paramount+.
For Swifties, you can expect a camera to be trained on her at all times.
