Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton has not had a good week after the staff elected to bench him, on his birthday no less. He even noted that his agent sought a trade before Tuesday’s deadline, but the team waited so late to announce his benching, it just wasn’t enough time to get anything going.
Fortunately for him, his fan base still loves him a lot, and they showed their appreciation by making $14 donations to his non-profit Andy and JJ Dalton Foundation.
According to Jeremiah Kirven of the Cincinnati Enquirer — Director Amy Floyd said more than 90 percent of the small flood of donations have come in at the $14 mark.
As you might remember, the Cincinnati Bengals QB helped the Buffalo Bills qualify for the postseason for the first time since the late 90’s when he defeated the Baltimore Ravens in Week 17 of the 2017 season, which caused Bills fans to thank him by donating close to a million dollars to his foundation.
