NFL fans are already ripping on the playing surface that will be used for Super Bowl 58 at Allegiant Stadium — home of the Las Vegas Raiders — this Sunday.
Over the weekend, multiple pictures surfaced of the playing field that will be used for the big clash between the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs: Natural grass will be used for Sunday’s showdown.
And let’s just say that even though the big game is still days away, fans are already outraged over the playing surface…

You may recall that the playing surface for Super Bowl 57 between the Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles (at the Arizona Cardinals’ home venue of State Farm Stadium) was a subject of controversy.
The NFL went with a turfgrass for Super Bowl 57 called Tahoma 31, which was developed at Oklahoma State University. There were several instances of players slipping on the field during game, leading to immense backlash from the public.
Sunday will mark the first Super Bowl game to be played in Las Vegas. The game will also be a rematch of Super Bowl 58, where the Chiefs put up 21 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to win their first Super Bowl in 50 years.
