The Cleveland Browns just might be headed into a new era where they have a new logo for the franchise.
The Cleveland Browns asked fans to submit their best work for a new logo last month, and the five best have been selected as the team’s Twitter account dropped those on Monday.

The logos will be mixed with three additional local designs for the final round of voting, which opens on May 10 and closes in early June.
Fans will be able to vote by visiting clevelandbrowns.com/doglogo.
“We are fired up to see what ideas our fans come up with and the thought of their logo potentially being selected is a key element in our commitment to creating an amazing experience for our fanbase,” Browns Executive Vice President, Partner of Haslam Sports Group JW Johnson, said in a statement announcing the contest. “We are always looking for feedback from our fans to improve their experience so allowing them to serve as a centerpiece of this contest offers an opportunity to engage with each other in real-time and showcase their love for the team and beyond.”
Here’s how the fan base is reacting:
The Browns are hoping the 2023 season is much better now that Deshaun Watson will be available to play in all games.
Watson waived his no-trade clause for a move to the Cleveland Browns last offseason. He would then get a fully guaranteed five-year, $230 million contract.
Watson, a three-time Pro Bowler, did not play in 2021.
He was suspended 11 games and fined $5 million after a settlement with the NFL.
In March and April of 2021, 22 women filed civil lawsuits against Watson alleging sexual assault and misconduct during massage sessions. The alleged incidents are said to have occurred between March 30, 2020, and March 5, 2021.
In addition, at least 10 women filed criminal complaints against Watson with Houston police regarding those allegations.
He has since settled all but one case.
