Roger Goodell confirmed the league’s Sunday Ticket package will be leaving DirecTV for a streaming service in 2023.
“I clearly believe we’ll be moving to a streaming service,” Goodell said Friday on CNBC.
The NFL Commissioner expects to have a decision in place regarding a partner by the fall.

The current DirecTV deal runs through the end of the 2022 season. DirecTV has carried Sunday Ticket since its inception in 1994.
As of last month, Disney, Apple, and Amazon have all submitted bids for the package. DirecTV has not. The NFL wants any buyer to pay more than $2 billion for the rights and a stake in NFL Media, which is being packaged with Sunday Ticket.
