Jay Cutler wished Kristin Cavallari happy Mother’s Day on his Instagram account on Sunday amid their ongoing divorce.
Something seemed fishy about it, because fans in the comments began accusing Kristin Cavallari of actually wishing herself happy Mother’s Day on his account.
“Happy Mother’s day to all the moms. These 3 little ones picked a good one.”
Fans fired back in the comments:
- “Give Jay his Instagram”
- “Kristin you should give Jay his Instagram back”
- “Kristin, get off his account”
- “YOU WONT FOOL US KRISTIN”
- “Kristin, babe, we know you run this account. Happy Mother’s Day though.”
- “This is really gross. If jay had instagram..he wouldn’t post this. Tell your media team this post is insensitive and disrespectful to Jay.”

Seems weird that people would accuse her of running that account, but that’s because she confirmed this fact herself back in 2018.
According to USA Today, Kristin hit Instagram Stories in 2018 to tell fans Jay does not run his account, saying she is, in fact, the person behind @ifjayhadinstagram.
“I think there needs to be a little clarification on Jay’s Instagram,” she reportedly said at the time. “It’s not him running it. It’s me. It’s what Jay would have if he had Instagram.”
She may have given him back his account since then, but we’ll never actually know until he speaks out on it.
Cutler and Cavallari announced on April 26 that they are divorcing. They had been together for 10 years and married for the last seven.
“With great sadness after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce. We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of. This is just the situation of two people growing apart. We ask everyone to respect our privacy as we navigate this difficult time within our family,” the couple announced.
