NFL fans were very pleased following the revelation of a significant change to the upcoming Super Bowl LIX.
The big game is set to take place in New Orleans, with the teams to be decided this weekend. Fans received some big news about the halftime show this Thursday when it was revealed that SZA will be joining Kendrick Lamar.
The Grammy Award winner, who has often collaborated with Kendrick, featured in a clip shared by the rapper and Apple Music. She was shown pouring blue liquid on him from a cooler while he was walking on a football field.

The announcement was very well received and drew over a million likes as fans showed their excitement.

Super Bowl LIX Will Set The Stage For Kendrick And SZA
Super Bowl LIX will serve as a precursor to Kendrick and SZA’s next big collab. The former label mates, who feature on each others’ albums, are scheduled to kick off a 19-venue Grand National Tour together in Minnesota on April 19.
The rapper was selected as the halftime performer on the tail end of a widely publicized beef with Drake, perhaps controversially, as Lil Wayne was snubbed and has been bitter about it.
“Rap music is still the most impactful genre to date,” Lamar said last year. “And I’ll be there to remind the world why. They got the right one.”
The big game will take place at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on February 9. The Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders will square off this Sunday to determine who gets to represent the NFC, while the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills will face each other in the AFC Championship Game.
