NFL fans are sending prayers to legendary player London Fletcher over his heartbreaking news.
The former NFL linebacker announced over the weekend that his wife, Charne Fletcher-Baker, tragically lost her life to breast cancer.
“My soul hurts, and we’re devastated, and as a family, however, we’re comforted by the fact that she’s no longer suffering.”
London Fletcher was married to Charne for 18 years, and the couple had three children.

London Fletcher Played 16 Seasons And Never Missed A Game
Former Washington linebacker London Fletcher is in mourning this week and likely for the remainder of his life after breaking the news that his wife passed away from breast cancer.

They were together for the majority of his career, which spanned 16 years.
Fletcher played for 16 seasons in the National Football League with the St. Louis Rams, Buffalo Bills, and Washington Redskins.
After four seasons with the Rams, he was a member of the Bills for five seasons and spent his last seven seasons with the Redskins.
London Fletcher was a workhorse who never missed a game due to injury in his career. According to his Wikipedia page, he was one of only five players in NFL history to play in over 250 consecutive games.
By the time he was done playing, he had made four Pro Bowls during his Redskins tenure and won a Super Bowl title with the Rams in Super Bowl XXXIV.
London Fletcher also finished his career with 215 consecutive games started, which ties him for seventh all-time.
In 2022, he was named to the Washington’s Ring of Fame.
