“Justice for Christian Fauria” is what some fans are saying after WEEI decided they would shake up their lineup with a series of moves.
This week, the radio station announced that it was firing several people, including midday hosts Andy Gresh and Christian Fauria.
The station’s parent company, Audacy, announced that Andy Hart and Christian Arcand would be the new duo for the afternoon drive from 2:00 p.m. through 6:00 p.m. and that Adam Jones and Rich Keefe will “reunite” to co-host middays from 10:00 a.m. through 2:00 p.m, per The New York Post.
For those who might not remember, Fauria’s 13-year career as an NFL tight end included four seasons in New England, where he would win two Super Bowls during the Bill Belichick/Tom Brady regime.
Christian Fauria has been with WEEI since 2014.

Christian Fauria Had A Productive NFL career Before Heading Into Radio
Christian Fauria is out of work this week following his firing from WEEI.
Years before he would start a radio career, he was on the football field putting in work.
Fauria attended the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he caught 98 passes for 1,458 yards and earned third-team All-American honors in 1994.
His good play got him drafted with the 39th pick, playing seven seasons with the Seattle Seahawks.
Christian Fauria’s best year was a career-high 37 receptions in 1998.
He would then move on to the Patriots in 2002 until 2005, where he started and played for two Super Bowl championships (2004, 2005).
In his career, he had 252 catches for 2,529 yards and scored 22 touchdowns.
