After over two decades of focusing on college football, Kirk Herbstreit is now joining Al Michaels as the new color commentator for Thursday Night Football on Amazon Prime Video.
Just because he is in this new role does not mean he won’t be fulfilling his duties with ESPN, covering GameDay, Saturday Night Football, and the NFL Draft.
For tonight, Herbstreit gets to call a great matchup between the New York Jets and New England Patriots. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers is looking to stop the Jets’ nasty losing streak against the Patriots at MetLife Stadium.
Both the Jets and Patriots come into this game 1-1 with hopes of winning to get above .500.
