There are likely thousands ofo Cleveland Browns fans that are happy with the news of the team trading for Deshaun Watson, but many of them are not and are currently getting their voices heard in a unique way.
The Deshaun Watson saga reached its next chapter after the Texans agreed to ship the embattled Watson to the Cleveland Browns, the Texans announced on Friday. As part of the move, Watson gets a new, fully guaranteed five-year, $230 million contract, according to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport.
The move gives Watson a fresh start in a new city and brings a blockbuster end to trade speculation complicated by outstanding civil lawsuits against the QB, with 22 different women alleging sexual assault or misconduct, and the NFL still investigating the matter.
However, many are not happy about the QB being rewarded for what he iss till going through. So, some fans took to Twitter and not only donated but encouraged others to send money to the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center, with some doing so in the name of Baker Mayfield, who has surely played his last down with the franchise.
