USA Today revealed its 2024 NFL record and playoff predictions, and not many NFL fans are happy about what they are seeing with their favorite team or rival teams.
With preseason just around the corner and all 32 rosters looking as close to set as they will be, USA Today decided to send out its predictions for the upcoming year.
USA Today predicted winners for all 272 regular-season games and the playoffs, and projects an AFC East team will reach Super Bowl 59.
NFL reporter Nate Davis dropped the shocking prediction that the New York Jets, with a 12-7 overall record, will face the Green Bay Packers at Super Bowl 59 and hoist the Lombardi Trophy.
That means with these NFL predictions, the Kansas City Chiefs will not be making a third-straight trip to the Super Bowl to possibly make history as the first team to win three Super Bowls in a row.
This also means the Jets will be winning their first championship in 56 years.

Speaking more about the NFL predictions, they have the Jets winning the AFC East and then defeating the Browns in the wild-card round, the Bengals in the divisional round, and the Chiefs in the AFC Championship to reach the Super Bowl.
At 13-4, the Packers are predicted to win the NFC North and secure the No. 2 seed in the NFC playoffs.
In the postseason, the Packers are predicted to beat the Detroit Lions in the divisional round and the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC title game.
NFL Predictions Can’t Account For Key Injuries During Actual Season
USA Today gets fans riled up every year with their predictions of how the upcoming season will go.
It’s good for conversation, but the NFL predictions could never account for the massive number of injuries to key players that can turn any team’s season upside down.
We saw it last year with the Jets when they lost Aaron Rodgers for the year in the first game.
Prediction or not, they still have to play the game.
