A photo of quarterback Kory Curtis at Seattle Seahawks minicamp has quickly gone viral, and the Gannon University product even commented on it.
Curtis was one of several quarterbacks to attend Seattle Seahawks minicamp sessions, along with former Maryland and Alabama QB Taulia Tagovailoa — the younger brother of Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
The @nsrseattle X/Twitter account shared the viral image of Kurtis and Tagovailoa practicing at Seattle’s minicamp session. The account wrote, “Ik 4 is tua brother but who the (expletive) is #2 with a pair of crying emojis. (WARNING: IMAGE BELOW CONTAINS LANGUAGE THAT IS NSFW):

Mr. Kurtis himself even had a priceless reaction to the tweet!
For the 2022 season, the Gannon Athletics’ website listed Curtis at 6-foot-4 and 235 pounds. He began his college career with the Ohio State Buckeyes before transferring to Bryant and later Gannon.
Tagovailoa did not make the Seahawks’ roster following rookie minicamp, so we’ll have to wait and see what he decides on next. In his final year of college football, Tagovailoa tossed 3,377 yards and 25 touchdowns against 11 interceptions.
Geno Smith Remains Seattle Seahawks’ Starting Quarterback
Many wondered if the Seahawks would draft a potential replacement for quarterback Geno Smith this year, with Washington Huskies star Michael Penix Jr. being widely mentioned as a possible target.
But Seattle will roll with Smith at quarterback for a third year, with Sam Howell (acquired via trade with the Washington Commanders) backing him up. Drew Lock, Seattle’s second-string QB in 2023, left to sign with the New York Giants.
In 15 games last season, the 2022 Comeback Player of the Year completed 64.7 percent of his pass attempts for 3,624 yards and 20 touchdowns against only nine interceptions. Seattle finished 9-8 on the year but missed out on the final playoff spot in the NFC via tiebreaker to the Green Bay Packers.
