NFL fans are completely grossed out after learning of Drake Maye’s preferred condiment choice for his steaks.
Drake Maye will make headlines today when he gets selected by one of the 32 NFL teams in the 2024 NFL Draft. The North Carolina quarterback is widely expected to be a top-three pick, along with fellow QBs in Caleb Williams (USC) and Jayden Daniels (LSU).
Ahead of the draft, Maye found another interesting way to make headlines: By letting the football world know of a disgusting-sounding meal he greatly enjoys.
During his Wednesday morning appearance on ESPN’s “Unsportsmanlike with Evan, Canty and Michelle Show” show, the former Tar Heels star revealed that he enjoys eating ketchup with steak and eggs.

And as you would have guessed, fans on social media had some hysterical reactions to Maye’s strange pleasure of ketchup, mayo and eggs…
As several fans noted above, it doesn’t sound as gross as Will Levis’ habit of putting mayonnaise in his coffee. Yes, the Tennessee Titans’ second-year quarterback actually does that.
In his final season at North Carolina, Drake Maye completed 63.3 percent of pass attempts for 3,608 yards and 24 touchdowns against nine interceptions to go along with 449 rushing yards and nine touchdowns.
Drake Maye Will Be A Top-10 Pick
At this point, everyone knows that the Chicago Bears will be using the first overall pick on Caleb Williams. That was confirmed once they traded Justin Fields to the Pittsburgh Steelers for a late-round pick.
The Washington Commanders will choose between Maye, Jayden Daniels, and JJ McCarthy at No. 2. Barring any surprises, the New England Patriots will also take a QB and take one of those guys with the No. 3 pick.
The New York Giants (No. 6) could also target Maye. The Minnesota Vikings (No. 11) and Denver Broncos (No. 12) could also look to trade up for the North Carolina product. The bottom line is that Maye should be off the board within the first 10 selections.
