NFL fans are ripping on former star running back Le’Veon Bell over his outrageous take on Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams.
Folks who’ve watched the Bears closely this year know that Caleb Williams isn’t at all to blame for the Bears’ issues. Despite a terrible offensive line, a mediocre defense and inept coaching that led to the firing of Matt Eberflus, Williams is having a phenomenal rookie season with 17 touchdowns against only five interceptions.
Bell, who’s last relevant NFL season was seven years ago, indicated on X/Twitter that Williams has been a disappointment because he paints his fingernails.

And let’s just say that Bell might want to avoid reading the responses he got for this pathetic take on Caleb Williams.
“He has more rushing yards as a rookie quarterback than you had in your last two seasons as a running back,” a fan said.
“Not a good tweet bro. Critique his play… this right here ain’t it,” quipped another.

“Yet he’s in the league, while you couldn’t find a team to pick you up for multiple seasons,” said a user.
“he has been great, his team hasn’t been, that is the cross to bear for a lot of top picks, but unlike you I bet he doesnt quit on his team,” a fan remarked.

“Bro fell off so hard he has to tweet about Caleb to stay relevant,” wrote a fan.
“Who are you?,” asked another.
“Didn’t you fumble your career away?,” a fan quipped.
“Caleb Williams the QB >> Le’Veon Bell the Boxer >> Le’Veon Bell the Rapper,” said another.

Bell was one of the best running backs in football from 2013 to 2017, before sitting out the entire 2018 season because of a contract dispute with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He subsequently cost himself more money, a shot at a Super Bowl ring and a chance at a Hall of Fame career.
Caleb Williams Needs More Support In 2025
The Bears’ No. 1 offseason priority is finding the right head coach who can maximize Williams’ skill set. The front office also must shore up the offensive line, retool the WR room and improve the secondary. If they can hit on those goals, Williams will take his game to an even higher level.
