Jameson Williams did not have the best start to training camp.
The Detroit Lions kicked off training camp on Wednesday, and many eyes were on the third-year wide receiver, who hoped to participate in the first full training camp of his career.
Things didn’t go completely smoothly for Williams on Day 1 of training camp.
He had to briefly leave the practice field after “vomiting several times,” according to Kyle Meinke of MLive.com.
At one point, Jameson Williams puked mid-stride after reeling in a touchdown catch. He then wiped it off of him and got back to work.

Fans were loving it and were disgusted by it:
Despite what was seen on the field, Williams assured everyone that he was fine and attributed the incident to eating the wrong thing for breakfast.
The Detroit Lions are hoping for a huge season from third-year wide receiver Jameson Williams after losing Josh Reynolds in free agency to the Denver Broncos.
He is expected to be the Lions’ No. 2 wide receiver in 2024 behind standout wideout Amon-Ra St. Brown.
Detroit Lions Hoping Jameson Williams Can be Even Better With Increased Role in 2024
Jameson Williams showed how dangerous he could be. In his most productive outing last year, he rushed for a 42-yard touchdown, caught a 3-yard touchdown pass, and had a terrific contested 22-yard reception.
Williams had just one reception for 41 yards and a touchdown in his rookie season, which was cut short because he was coming back from a torn ACL suffered during college.
In 2023, he stepped it up with 24 catches for 354 yards and two scores in 12 games, per ESPN. It should be noted that he missed the first four contests due to a gambling suspension.
With an increased role, the team hopes he can step up significantly for a team that was one game away from the Super Bowl.
