Patrick Mahomes is not happy about the Kansas City Chiefs’ brutal schedule.
It’s not the opponents but rather the short time period.
For as much as the NFL preaches about valuing player safety, the schedule the league threw together for certain teams might cause a lot of injuries.
The Kansas City Chiefs’ schedule is brutal, as they will play their next three games in 11 days.
Chiefs superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes didn’t hold back when asked about the scheduling.
Mahomes isn’t upset about playing on Christmas as the team hopes to redeem themselves from last year, but he made it clear that “It is not a good feeling.”
“I’m excited to play on Christmas to hopefully get back from what we did last year, but you never want to play this many games in this short of time. It’s just not great for your body. But at the end of the day, it’s your job, your profession. You have to come to work and do it.”

The Chiefs head to Cleveland for this Sunday’s game against the Browns, then return to Arrowhead for a Saturday home game against the Texans, and then head to Pittsburgh for a Christmas Day game against the Steelers.
Unfortunately for Patrick Mahomes, there weren’t too many people who cared to hear him complain.
“Does he get paid to play,” asked a fan. “He needs to shut his face!”
“You make millions. Suck it up,” wrote another.
“You’re a highly paid professional. Suck it up buttercup,” wrote another.

Another fan told him not to worry since the refs would be on his side: “Don’t worry, the refs will give you those games anyway.”
“He has a 400 million dollar contract he will be fine,” posted a fan.
“Try working 12 hr shifts every day for 37 days straight, then come cry to me,” wrote one final fan about Patrick Mahomes’ complaints.
