With sports gambling being legalized all over North America in recent years, the big betting platforms are constantly offering wagers with increased odds in order to entice its customers to place bets as well as trying to lure new bettors to join their website.
On Sunday, FanDuel offered its users a +20000 (200-1) longshot bet on whether each team playing during Sundays 1 o’clock and 4 o’clock games will successfully make a field goal during their game.
Unfortunately for FanDuel, the prop bet came through and they handed out $20 million to the thousands of users on their platform who were smart enough to throw some money at this bet.
