Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson received a harsh welcome from the fanbase of his former team in Seattle on Monday night when he took the field against the Seahawks for the first time.
The boos were evident, but some fans took it further and brought signs bashing their former QB.
One of the many signs said ‘Let’s Cook Russ,’ which is a play on the term “Let Russ Cook.”
DK Metcalf, his former teammate, was in the midst of signing autographs with fans when he turned down fans who had those signs.

The seven targets were nice to see, but the Broncos defense was able to hold Metcalf to just 36 yards, allowing very minimal yards-after-catch. It still wasn’t enough for them to pull out a win amid so many mistakes on offense for the Broncos.
Geno Smith finished 23 of 28 for 195 yards, but was 17 of 18 for 164 yards in the first half.
Wilson was 29 of 42 for 340 yards and a touchdown.
