Todd Gurley was released by the Los Angeles Rams in March and would soon sign a 1-year deal with the Atlanta Falcons this offseason that is worth up to $6 million.
Many thought the franchise may be confident in his health, but that doesn’t appear to be the case.
Falcons offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter made some rather eye-opening comments about Gurley’s health on Thursday, basically admitting that the team is unsure of how healthy the 25-year-old truly is.
Koetter said the Falcons will have to “find out (Gurley’s) health after he gets here.”

Gurley has had issues with his knee since college and was likely the main reason the Rams parted ways with him less than two years after inking him to a four-year, $60 million contract in 2018.
Last season, the 25-year-old rushed for a career-low 857 yards in 15 games. He also had 12 touchdowns and 31 catches for 207 receiving yards.
