Ezekiel Elliott doesn’t just want to get paid, he wants to be the highest paid at his position.

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott is reportedly making that harder to do since his contract demands are much more than what the Rams gave Todd Gurley.
Elliott is younger, healthier and you could argue a better tailback than Gurley right now.
On Thursday, the Dallas Cowboys departed for California for the start of training camp, all except for Elliott who was not on the Cowboys’ plane as the doors closed. If he does not show up, Elliot will be fined $40,000 for every day he’s not there.
Elliott is owed $12,952,137 on the two remaining years of his rookie contract. He is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent after the 2020 season.
