Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott is scheduled to meet with Roger Goodell on Tuesday to discuss the May incident in Las Vegas where he found himself being briefly handcuffed and detained after he was viewed pushing a security guard to the ground.
No charges were filed from the incident, but players can be subject to penalty under the league’s personal conduct policy without an arrest, according to ESPN’s Todd Archer.
It was back in 2017 when Elliott got his first dose of punishment from the league when Elliott was suspended for six games from an alleged incident involving his girlfriend even though he wasn’t arrested or charged with a crime.
Despite video in this case, Cowboys and sources close to Elliott do not believe he will be disciplined this time around.
Elliott appeared in 15 in 2018 and rushed for 1,434 yards on 304 carries to go along with 77 receptions for 567 yards receiving and 9 touchdowns.
