Ezekiel Elliott is teasing a new look as things take shape for the start of the 2023 NFL season.
The free-agent running back may have switched things up while he awaits an offer from a new team after getting released by the Dallas Cowboys following the end of the 2022 campaign.
It appears Elliott has chopped his hair off, having taken to special media to share a photo of it on the floor.

The 28-year-old has already made efforts to get leaner this year and, given the above, we suspect that there’s not much he plans on leaving.
It will be interesting to see where he lands next season. There has been talk of him rejoining the Cowboys, but the New York Jets have been tipped as a likely destination as well.

The player is no longer the rushing threat he was in years past. His yards per rush attempt went down to a career-low 3.8 last season but he did show that he can still be a very reliable option playing with another running back.
Elliott rushed for 876 yards and 12 touchdowns during the season and he’s now viewed as a running back who could be extremely useful in short-yardage situations.
The Jets are under pressure to win immediately, given the arrival of Aaron Rodgers. And Zeke could be a solid addition as there is a lack of depth in the RB department, with Breece Hall also returning from an ACL injury.
The team has already hosted Dalvin Cook but that was two weeks ago. Who knows? Maybe they look to Elliott?
