Ezekiell Elliott certainly heard a ton of criticism thrown his way in 2020. Last season, the Dallas Cowboys running back became a punching bag for the fan base after he hit a career-low yards-per-carry (4.0) and rushing yards (979).
That is unacceptable for a man who signed a six-year, $90 million contract ahead of the 2019 season, making him the highest paid running back in the NFL.
Entering the 2021 season with a healthy O-line opening holes and Prescott’s comeback return, Elliott is primed for stardom and is certainly putting in the work right now.
A picture showed up on social media showing him looking absolutely jacked.
The former Ohio State Buckeye is looking to get back to the days when he led the NFL with 1,631 rushing yards and was the driving force of the Cowboy’s 13-3 record and securing the top seed in the NFC playoffs back in 2016.
