Earlier this offseason, Ezekiel Elliott was involved in an incident in Las Vegas where he was captured in a verbal argument with his girlfriend that led to him going chest to chest with a security guard that made him fall to the ground.
The NFL star was handcuffed, detained, but not charged with a crime as they just removed him from the area. After the NFL decided not to suspend Elliott for the incident, the security guard in question, Kyle Johnson, decided to take action and press charges.
According to a new report from TMZ — Zeke will not face any charges in the matter.
“The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department met with prosecutors late last month — and after reviewing all of the evidence in the case, prosecutors felt they could not move forward with charges against the Dallas Cowboys superstar.”
That is huge news for Elliott who certainly did not want this over his head as he continues to fight for a new contract from the Cowboys.
