Things just got really real for Ezekiel Elliott during the off-season yet again.
Despite the NFL deciding against disciplining the Dallas Cowboys running back over a May incident in Las Vegas, the all-pro might not be completely vindicated.
Kyle Johnson, the security guard at then EDC Festival, officially filed charges against Ezekiel Elliott last Friday. It now appears that the Las Vegas PD will indeed be investigating the incident.
Via TMZ:
“This incident is under investigation,” the spokesperson confirmed.
It was at the Electric Daisy Carnival where Dallas Cowboys RB used his body to push the security guard backward before using his forearm to knock him to the ground.

“To not have anything happen to him, the NFL is basically saying it’s OK to go to Vegas, get obliterated and shove people over fences,” Johnson told Enzo Marino of Fox 5 Las Vegas.
Elliott apologized for the incident, but Johnson didn’t quite believe it was sincere enough.
“Just very unsympathetic. Like, ‘I have to do this, I’m being forced to do this. I don’t want to be here right now’ kind of thing,” Johnson said of Elliott’s apology.
Meanwhile, Zeke’s reps claim he is just a victim of an extortion scheme.
Who knows what this investigation might mean to Roger Goodell and the league that has already spoken with him.
