Now that Ezekiel Elliott is no longer part of the Dallas Cowboys organization, he wants something back from his college days.
The Dallas Cowboys made one of the biggest cuts of the NFL offseason earlier this month, releasing multi-time Pro Bowler and Ohio State running back great, Ezekiel Elliott.
Now that he is in search of a new home, he wants to get back to his Ohio State roots, and sport his No. 15 jersey at his next stop.
“I want my No. 15 back,” Elliott tweeted on Thursday.
After his post, Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill quote-tweeted him and told the running back to take his talents to the Kansas City Chiefs. Zeke would like that post.

When Elliott was drafted in 2016, running backs could only wear jersey numbers 20-49, and so he chose No. 21.
With the NFL recently adopting a new system for jersey numbering at every position, players now have a chance to get whatever they want when picking out their new designation. Now, running backs can wear any number from 1-49 and 80-89.
During his time at Ohio State, Elliott ran for 2,961 yards and 43 touchdowns, with 58 catches for 449 yards and one touchdown receiving.
While he has had an incredibly successful seven seasons at the NFL level, his play on the field has fallen off the past few years. Just maybe a return to his old number could bring the old Zeke back.
First things first, he needs to find his new team.
