This week, members of the Dallas Cowboys spent the evening at the Mavs game trying to win over free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.
Odell Beckham Jr. had his long-awaited face-to-face visit with the Dallas Cowboys on Monday, and the Cowboys continued their recruitment of the former Pro Bowler in free agency later that evening. He could be seen with star defensive players Micah Parsons and Trevon Diggs.
Not in attendance with them was running back Ezekiel Elliott, who has pitched for Odell to come to Dallas.
The veteran running back became very unhappy when reporters actually questioned why he wasn’t at the game with Odell.
“Damn, I can’t chill at the crib? If I went everywhere y’all would be on my ass about that. So which y’all want?” Elliott said.
He’s not wrong.

Dallas sports fans made sure to do their part in the recruiting process when the crowd broke into an “O-B-J” chant.
The Cowboys (9-3) sit second in the NFC East and in the top NFC wild-card spot.
Star Bills linebacker Von Miller, Beckham’s friend and Super Bowl-winning teammate with the Rams, has publicly recruited Beckham to Buffalo in recent weeks. However, it has since been announced he tore his ACL, just like Odell did, and will now miss the remainder of the season.
Last week, Beckham met with the Buffalo Bills and the New York Giants.
Once he signs with a team, it’s still not clear how soon he’d be able to play.
