Ezekiel Elliott is coming into the 2023 season with a new team and a new body.
The New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles face off in Week 1 this season and the former Dallas Cowboys running back could be seeing a ton of action.
Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson was been listed as questionable to play in Sunday’s season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles at Gilette Stadium after missing Friday’s practice session due to a stomach bug.
Zeke appears to be more than ready as he reportedly lost 15 pounds entering this year.
Stevenson is still expected to play Sunday. Should he not be available, however, veteran running back Ezekiel Elliott is easily the next best option.
The 28-year-old joined New England in free agency this offseason on a one-year, $3 million contract. He finished the previous season with 876 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns in 14 starts.
