Rechsteiner’s alma mater, Kennesaw State, announced the deal on Twitter:
Rechsteiner led the Owls with 909 yards rushing and averaged 8.1 yards per attempt in 2019. ESPN’s Jamison Hensley noted that Rechsteiner recorded 35 reps on the bench press during Kennesaw State’s pro day just last month.
His father, Rick Steiner, made his name in professional wrestling, debuting way back in 1983.
He’s a one-time WCW US Champion, two-time WCW US Tag Team Champion, and two-time WWE World Tag Team Champion.
