Brett Maher better have one hell of a day against the 49ers or his job will be in jeopardy this offseason. Maher is coming off a disastrous outing in the team’s 31-14 wild-card win over the Buccaneers on Monday, when the kicker missed four extra point attempts.
Maher became the first kicker in league history to miss that many attempts, according to Elias Sports Bureau. He ended the drought in the fourth quarter, making his fifth attempt.
Sarah Fuller, a goalkeeper for Minnesota Aurora FC and former placekicker for Vanderbilt, took to Twitter on Monday and sent him a very important message.
Fuller tweeted, “My brother in Christ. Let’s make a field goal.”
Maher had a good regular season where he was 50-of-53 on extra-point attempts and hit 90.6% of his field goals. However, on Monday night, he seemingly forgot how to do his job.
When Maher missed his third extra point right before the end of the first half, quarterback Dak Prescott was rightfully angry on the sideline as he screamed for the team to go for two instead.

Hopefully, he can shake off the jitters as the next game is only going to be even crazier.
