Amy Trask, who spent 25 years in the Raiders organization from 1987 to 2013, is exposing Bruce Allen this week as she repeatedly reported him for using offensive language when the two worked together.
“So, for that reason, I will share that I did hear comments of that nature from the individual to whom Jon [Gruden] sent those emails,” Trask added, referring to Bruce Allen. “And I did speak up. I spoke up repeatedly, I spoke up forcefully. I talked to the owner about it. Because to be silent would have been to be complicit.”

“I did not hear anything of that nature, nor did I sense anything of that nature, but I will quickly note, I didn’t interact with Jon a lot, and that was by Jon’s choice,” Trask told That Other Pregame Show on CBS Sports. “Jon made very clear throughout the organization he did not want to interact with me. Had I heard him say anything of that nature, I would have spoken up. Because silence is complicity.
“Now there will be those that are dubious that I didn’t interact with him, or dubious that I didn’t hear anything of that nature, or dubious that I would have spoken up.
Allen served as an executive in the Raiders organization from 1995 to 2003 and then spent time with Tampa Bay and Washington Football Team as general manager.

Trask was then asked to comment on the Raiders organization having access to Gruden’s emails for over a week, but still allowed him to coach the team against the Chicago Bears.
“One has to wonder, had those not been made public, what would the outcome been?” replied Trask.
The former CEO also implored owner Mark Davis to step up to the plate and right the ship. Davis declined to comment on Gruden’s departure, saying, “Ask the NFL. They have all the answers.”
“He did hire Jon, and he does now need to address that strongly and unequivocally,” said Trask of Davis. “Another thing I would encourage him to do is to reach out to the Raiders’ fan base.”
Trask currently serves as an analyst for CBS Sports and is a panelist on an all-women’s sports talk show entitled We Need To Talk on CBS Sports Network.
