15 years ago, Bill Belichick made it clear that he did not like Freddie Mitchell and those feelings likely haven’t changed much.
During the lead-up to Super Bowl XXXIX, the former Philadelphia Eagles WR had talked a bunch of trash about the Patriots, especially the defense. After defeating the Eagles — Bill Belichick used some time to throw shots back at Mitchell.
“All he does is talk,” Belichick told Sports Illustrated. “He’s terrible. And you can print that. I was glad when he was in the game.”
That brings us to last week when Mitchell fired off a tweet in response Aaron Judge’s remarks about the Houston Astros cheating scandal. Mitchell described the Astros tainted World Series title to the Patriots Super Bowl wins.
