Antonio Brown has been taking verbal shots at plenty of people this offseason, and now Colin Kaepernick has been added to his list.
During a recent interview on the Cigar Talk podcast, the former Buccaneers receiver put Kaepernick on blast after it was pointed out that he was blackballed by the NFL for kneeling during the national anthem and that’s when Brown started sharing his thoughts.
“But they gave him the money and they gave him a commercial, they gave him the documentary,” Brown said. “He took a deal. We don’t feel sorry for you. You took the deal. F–k out of here. Oh, Kaepernick. Man, you on f—ing Nike, man. F–k out of here.”
Shawne Merriman is one person who doesn’t agree with what Brown said as he explained to TMZ Sports.
“He makes some valid points about Colin Kaepernick, saying that, you know, he took the money from the NFL. The settlement. The Nike commercials — all these things,” Merriman said.
“Well, I think a lot of people think that way about all the other stuff that Colin Kaepernick has going on, and his opportunities that he’s had to get back in the NFL, and just hasn’t.”

Saints wideout Michael Thomas also agreed with what Brown said as well.
Added Merriman, “If you listen to what he said, he actually made a couple valid points in there.”
