National Football fans know the name Chris Johnson or his nickname “CJ2K” for what he did on the football field as a dynamic running back.
This week, we found out that he may have had a hand in the killings of two men a couple of years back. TMZ Sports dropped the news that the former NFL all-pro was accused of paying a suspected gang member for allegedly killing two men who shot him and killed his friend in 2015, according to court documents.
The 34-year-old has not been charged with a crime but prosecutors believe he paid a “noted Florida gang member” named Dominic Bolden to carry out the killings. Johnson, himself, was shot in his shoulder while his friend was killed after being shot in the head. Police at the time said Johnson was “uncooperative” and investigators suspected the vehicle had been targeted.
Bolden allegedly gunned down the suspected Orlando shooters in two separate incidents in January and July 2016.
Soon after the news surfaced, the former Titans running back took to Twitter and responded:
“There’s no validity to any of these accusations,” Johnson’s rep told TMZ.
