Matt Leinart really wishes he didn’t send out a tweet this weekend.
On Saturday, the former NFL quarterback took to Twitter and stated how people were just out and about at a beach and how okay with it he was.
He ended his statement by saying, “It’s time to start using common sense everyone,” which seems to allude to people being up in arms about states reopening and folks coming out due to the coronavirus.
Once he began replying to people who opposed him, he brought up his mom dying from cancer and appeared to compare the disease to the coronavirus.
He quickly deleted it.
