Tua Tagovailoa hasn’t exactly been spectacular in his rookie campaign with the Miami Dolphins. In fact, head coach Brian Flores chose to bench Tagovailoa to give his team a chance to win against the Las Vegas Raiders just last week.
Former NFL general manager Mike Lombardi recently had a lot to say about the No. 5 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
He had a harsh assessment of Tagovailoa during his latest episode of ‘The GM Shuffle’ podcast.
“Tell me what he does elitely with the football,” Lombardi said, via Fox News. “He doesn’t have an elite arm. He doesn’t have elite quickness. He doesn’t have elite size… They said it on the broadcast, he has ‘it.’ Like, what the f–k is ‘it?’ I want to know what ‘it’ is… like, What is ‘it?!’ I wanna know what the f–k ‘it’ is.”
The pressure on Tua is only gotten bigger as the team desperately needs to win this weekend with a playoff berth at stake.
