Adam “Pacman” Jones was set to be sentenced back in September after pleading no contest to assaulting a security guard at an Over-the-Rhine nightclub, but the case was postponed.
No such luck this time as the former Cincinnati Bengals cornerback was sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 150 days suspended, meaning that he will only have to spend 30 days in jail. He was also sentenced to nine months of probation and will have to pay a $100 fine, according to TMZ Sports. He must report to jail by November 29th and will have a 9 p.m. curfew throughout his probation.
Back in February, Jones was arrested after allegedly kicking and punching someone in the head until they were unconscious. He was charged with misdemeanor assault according to court documents, reports WCPO Cincinnati.
Jones retired from the NFL in 2019 after 12 seasons. He most recently played for the Denver Broncos, and saw action in seven games during the 2019 campaign before being released prior to the final month of the campaign.
As you know, Jones is no stranger to being involved on the wrong side of the law. Back in 2019 at a casino in Indiana, he was arrested and charged with felony intimidation, felony battery against an officer along with several other misdemeanors. Cops said he was cheating while playing a table game, and things escalated when he was confronted. He is banned from Rising Star Casino and was forced to spend 10 days in jail as well as stay away from alcohol for 18 months.
Back in August, he lost his boxing debut when he faced off against 5-0 (amateur record) boxer Bobby Laing at Barstool Sports event ‘Rough N’ Rowdy.’
