Days after Jupiter police announced a huge prostitution sting that netted a bunch of men that included New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, we are getting more details into what was going on inside that Day Spa where men would pay for sexual services.
Former federal prosecutor Mimi Rocah went on MSNBC on Monday to clarify with anybody that the women inside that Spa were not willing prostitutes, but sex “slaves.”
“This is not about prostitution,” Rocah said, but rather “human trafficking” and “sex slavery.”
“It’s not about women having sex with men, it’s about men really raping women essentially,” she continued. “They think because they’re paying for it, you know, its somehow voluntary.” She added that the women Kraft solicited for sex had been “held in captivity” in a case of “modern day slavery” that was comparable to the crimes of billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
“Everyone should really have their eyes open about this,” she said. “Those girls are not prostitutes, they’re victims.”
While Kraft nor none of the other men might not have been aware of the circumstances surrounding the alleged prostitutes inside the day spa, it does change the dynamic of the investigation and whether there are some bigger players involved in the sex trafficking of these women who are undoubtedly victims as well.
