Jason Garrett’s tenure with the Dallas Cowboys is finally over after the team decided to part ways with him and sign former Packers head coach Mike McCarthy as the new leading man to lead the team.
Cowboys fans and even Dez Bryant have cheered as the franchise finally made a sound decision to get rid of Garrett, but while they won’t miss him strolling the sidelines, they will certainly miss how good of a human being he was.
Former Cowboys quarterback and current radio broadcaster Babe Laufenberg recently took to Twitter and told a story of how Garrett would always drop by the hospital unannounced to visit his 21-year-old son, Luke, who sadly passed away due to a rare form of leukemia in 2017.
Garrett was highly emotional after finding out Luke had passed away.
Babe Laufenberg soon spoke to NBC and talked about the side of Garrett that mainstream media never really knew.

“There’s two sides to this. There’s the coach side, which everyone is entitled to their opinion on that. But, as a human side, there is no finer human being in my book than Jason Garrett.”
