The retired punter, who played eight seasons for the Indianapolis Colts, took to ESPN’s ‘Get Up’ show on Monday and laid out his plans for what would fix the overtime rules in the National Football League.
- Play one, 10-minute quarter (classic football)
- If tied at end of said quarter: 2-point conversion sudden-death shootout style
- If tied at end of said shootout: kicker duel (alternating from distance)
Over the weekend, the Bills-Texans and the Saints-Vikings Wild Card match-ups both went into OT. Both the Bills and Texans got a chance to have the ball on offense, while the Saints never got their opportunity.
