Once Johnny Manziel left the Texas A&M Aggies, his life has been in a downward spiral that began with the Cleveland Browns parting ways with him.
Since then, he’s played terribly in the Canadian Football League, only to get banned from ever playing there again. He then took his talents to the Alliance of American Football League, where he would play sporadically for two weeks before the entire league folded.
Johnny Manziel has now decided to become an adult and make an adult decision by changing his name going forward.
The former Heisman Trophy winner wants to go by just “John” now.
There’s no telling what Manziel plans to have going for himself in the future. One could only assume that is waiting for the XFL to come around to give himself one last shot to get back into the NFL.
