Just when we thought the saga between Myles Garrett and Mason Rudolph was over, the Cleveland Browns DE went and did an interview with ESPN and doubled down by saying Rudolph referred to him as a “stupid n-word.”
Rudolph has denied all claims, even having Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin going live on ESPN to defend him.
Garrett has steadily maintained his story that he told Dorsey and defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi about the reported racial slur the night of the altercation. Ogunjobi came forward in December and confirmed Garrett’s story.
Now, former Cleveland Browns GM John Dorsey is also saying the same thing as he told Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon-Journal that he was indeed told that after the game.
“On Monday, Dorsey told the Beacon Journal in text messages it’s “correct” and “it’s the truth” that Garrett informed him of the racial slur accusation right away.
Dorsey’s assertion is consistent with a prepared statement he released Nov. 21 in which he said Garrett “was open and honest with us about the incident from the start.”
Even still, this story will remain a he said, he said since there was no audio of the incident on that night.

Rudolph’s legal team has since come out and threatened to seek legal action against Garrett.
